Last Thursday offered one of those rare pauses in the work week – a chance to step back, listen and reflect alongside other women working across our industry.

It was one of those afternoons where you arrive expecting a pleasant industry event and leave having genuinely enjoyed the conversations, the perspectives shared, and the chance to meet women contributing to the profession in many different capacities.

There was also a reminder of the broader impact our industry can have through the work of Michelle Allen from Dress for Success. The organisation’s mission to support women with confidence, practical tools and professional opportunity was a powerful note to start on.

We also heard from Lindsey Leigh Hobson, who spoke about the importance of sparking buy-in and building the kind of trust that allows teams to move forward together.

At Quantum, it’s something we don’t have to look far to see.

Around our lunch tables, meeting tables and our Level 10 table, women are not only given a seat. They’re given a voice, and they play an important role in shaping the conversations and decisions that move our organisation forward.

Afternoons like this are a good reminder that progress is often built through connection, conversation and the quiet support people give one another.

Thank you to Strata Community Association (VIC) for creating the space for these conversations and for bringing so many women from the strata community together.
